Electricians – Commercial

Work Description
Electricians plan, diagram, install and repair electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuits and breaker panels. They measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduits, and pull wire through conduit. Electricians test circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components.

Working Conditions
The work is indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather
conditions; may stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications
18 years old and high school diploma or GED
Possess valid driver's license
Recommended high school courses: mechanical drawing, print reading, physics, English
Minimum math requirement of one full year of high school algebra with a C or better grade or one post high school algebra course with a  C or  better grade.
